Marva Sue Nehib

Graveside services for Marva Sue Nehib, 78, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery in Mountain Springs with Bro. Danny Shaver officiating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  No funeral home visitation services are planned.

Marva passed away January 7, 2021 in Gainesville.

Marva Sue was born May 8, 1942, in Gainesville, Texas.  She graduated high school in Valley View, TX growing up in the Burns City area and living out the majority of her life there.  She married the love of her life, Glenn Nehib, on June 24, 1960 just after graduating high school.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and helping Glenn with farming duties while raising her family and working some years in daycare taking sweet care of the babies and toddlers.  She loved to attend every sporting event possible to cheer on her kids and grandkids through the years.   Marva and Glenn made many fun memories RV traveling around the U.S. together and with friends camping in state parks and taking back road drives.  Marva was a longtime member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Burns City and had many memories and life time friends there.

Survivors include: husband, Glenn Nehib of Gainesville; son, Paul Nehib and wife Robin of Whitesboro: daughter, Pennye Hott and husband Tim of Callisburg; sister, Janie Clark and husband , Larry of Gainesville; brother, Steve Riley and wife Karen of Sherman; sister-in-law Deborah Miller and husband, Paul of Gainesville; brother-in-law Cary Nehib of Gainesville; Grandchildren Krista Nehib, Colton Nehib, Savanah Hott and Keaton Hott and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Nehib was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Nell Cason; and sister-in-law Mary Nehib.

Pallbearers will be Paul Nehib, Tim Hott, Keaton Hott, Tim Boaz, Phil Clark, and Steve Riley. Honorary pallbearer will be J.C. Kelly.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation at htohfoundation.org or to any organization you feel lead.
