Mary Jo Howard Ray

Mass of Christian burial for Mary Jo Howard Ray, 76, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 AM Monday, June 4, 2018 at St Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary with visitation to follow will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Mrs. Ray died on May 30, 2018 at the Pecan Tree Nursing Home.
She was born on July 12, 1941 in Gainesville to J.W. Howard and Kathleen Cullen Howard. She was employed at Winstar for 13 years before having to leave her job due to health.
Survivors include her son Mike Kubis and his wife CoyLynn of Gainesville; grandson Nicholas Kubis and fiance' Lindsey Uselton of Gainesville; grandson Trevor Kubis of Gainesville; brother Robert C. Howard of Overland, KS.; sister Patricia A. Grimshaw and her husband George of California City, CA.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister-in-law Barbara Howard.
