Mary Lee Mcdaniel

Graveside services for Mary Lee McDaniel, 69, of Callisburg, are scheduled for 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Hibbit Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 20 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDaniel passed away March 19, 2020 in Denison.

Mary Lee was born June 5, 1950 in Gainesville to R.C. and Billie Louise (Caldwell) Walker.  She spent over 50 years in the food service industry and may be remembered as the long-time manager of Denny’s.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening, bird feeding, and caring for her four-legged children.  Mrs. McDaniel treasured the moments spent at family gatherings and enjoyed giving, and especially receiving, presents.

Survivors include: son Dwayne Voyles and wife Chantel of Thackerville; son Dale Voyles of Thackerville; daughter Rhonda Jones and husband Rusty of Gainesville; daughter Sheila Hooker and husband Jake of Decatur; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Morris and wife Alana of Bridgeport; and sister Gail Reeves and husband Steve of Thackerville.

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by: her parents; husband of 43 years, Morris McDaniel; and daughter Angela Lee Ann Voyles.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are: Jeffery Voyles, Justin Voyles, Rusty Jones, Jake Hooker, Mack Hooker, and Marshall Hooker.
