Michael Dwayne Lile

Michael Dwayne Lile, age 58 of Gainesville passed away, February 20, 2023 in Gainesville.

Michael was born in Gainesville, March 18, 1964, to Val W. Lile and Yvonne R. (Moore) Lile.

Mr. Lile retired from Peterbilt after a 35+ year career.  His favorite activities included, shooting guns with his Dad and son, bow hunting, billiards, fishing, cooking BBQ, and watching baseball.  He was the happiest when he was around his kids, with his parents, or showing off his new knife or gun purchase.

Michael is survived by his two children, daughter, Lanie Lile and fiancé Colton Hendrickson of Denton and his son Brandon Lile of Denton, and grandson Cohen Hendrickson.  He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Janice and Don McCain; aunt and uncle Peggy and Gerald Moore and aunt LaQuita Moore.

He is preceded in death by his parents Val and Yvonne; grandmothers Vennie Marie Moore and Ruby June Lile; grandfathers Thomas Franklin Moore and Charlie F. Lile; his uncle Johnny Mack Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son in Gainesville.
