Tisha Michele (Pennington) Davis, age 53, of Gainesville, TX, passed away May 20, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her husband and three children.

Michele was born March 11, 1971 in Denton, TX.  She was raised in Aubrey, TX and Valley View, TX, graduating from Valley View High School.  Michele was a devoted homemaker and carried her passion of caring for children to her extended family and church family.  She also enjoyed reading, writing, journaling, decorating, and crafting.  Michele did not go a day without reading her Bible and spending time with the Lord.  She was a devoted member of Family Life Church in Gainesville.

Michele is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joe Davis, Jr.; son Jackie Paul Davis; daughter Jodi Lee Davis; son Jordan Lynn Davis; stepdaughter Brooke Wynell Martinez (Migs) of Gainesville, TX; grandchildren Penelope and Jaxon; sister Tammie Shields (Mark) of Fort Worth, TX; nephews Justin (Azia) and Tyler; and great-niece and nephews Leia, Liam, and Logan, along with aunts and many cousins.

Michele was preceded in death by mother Dixie (Martin) Pennington; father Jack Pennington; and stepmother Cheryl (O’Dell) Pennington.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  A committal service will follow at Walling Cemetery, Mountain Springs.
