William Michael Cashon, 77, of Gainesville, passed away February 11, 2022 in Denison.
Mike was born May 25, 1944 in Denton, the youngest of six children. He was raised in Denton, attended Denton schools, and served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Cashon was an injection molder for the majority of his career, working for Emconite in Denton for many years. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching any level of football. He was a social person and checked on family members often. Mr. Cashon was a born-again believer and considered his faith the highest priority.
Survivors include: daughter, Suzen West and husband, Danny of Gainesville; son, Warren Crenshaw and wife, Michelle of Itasca; daughter, Michelle Amato and husband, Donnie of Amesbury, MA; son, Schawn Cashon and wife, Ronda of Denton; grandchildren: Lenzi Holmes and husband, Justin of Keller, Jancsi West of Gainesville, Conner Scoggins of Denton, Quinn Scoggins of Denton, and Dyllon Spencer of Denton; great-granddaughter, Savannah Wynne Holmes of Keller; brother, Joe Cashon and wife, Ruth Ann of Whitney; nephew, Russell Thomas and wife, Twila; niece, Karen Cashon Pierce of Gunter; great-niece, Leah Pilapitiya and husband, Ruvinda; great-great-niece, Nara Pilapitiya; and cousins: Jane Cashon Willard, Richard Cashon, and Robert Cashon, all of Celina.
Mr. Cashon was preceded in death by: wife, Anita Sue (Crawford) Cashon; parents, Arthur and Lessie Robertson Cashon; sister, Ruth Cashon Thomas; brother, Robert Cashon; brother, Thomas Cashon; and brother, Kenneth Cashon.
