Miles Bartek

Miles McEwan Bartek was born April 24, 2001 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He departed his earthly body on February 20, 2024. Miles spent a majority of his childhood in Kyle, Texas before moving to the Gainesville area in 2018. Miles made fast friends with everyone he met. His kind and gentle demeanor were evident as soon as he entered a room.

Miles loved the outdoors, loved his family and loved his friends. He competed in competitive shot gun as a member of Hays County 4H for several years. Miles truly had a kind heart and would give you the shirt off his back, even if he didn’t have another one.

Miles is survived by his parents, Julie and Ed Warfield; and Raymond (Skip) and Deb Bartek; his sister Sydney Bartek, siblings Owen Tippett and Jay Cozadd, grandparents Randy and Jackie Graham, Ray and Diann Bartek, Don Quatacker, Tom & Terry Sanders, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Miles was preceded in death by his grandparents Sue Quatacker, Ed and Janice Warfield and Pete Payne.

He will be missed dearly, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at Lake Kiowa on a date TBD.
