Nancy Jean Lowrey

Nancy Jean Lowrey, 72, of Gainesville, was called home to Heaven on November 5, 2020.  She was born April 2, 1948 in Denison to W.A. and Shirley Henson.

Nancy was happily married to Phillip Wayne Lowrey for 33 years.  She was a very loving, caring, and supportive wife, mother, nanny, and friend.  She will forever be greatly missed.

Mrs. Lowrey was a cook at North Texas Medical Center for many years until she retired.

Nancy leaves behind her husband Phillip Lowrey; daughters Misty Griffitt, Tonia Miller, Destenie Griffitt, and Sharilyn Henson; 9 grandchildren Tristan, Jonathan, Jacob, Toby, Justin, Morgan, Zackery, Joseph, and Taylor; 4 great-grandchildren Barrett, Alaia, Kason, and Emalynn; brother John Henson; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Mrs. Lowrey was preceded in death by her parents W.A. and Shirley Henson; sister Leola Bowles; nephew Benny Bowles.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
