Nathan Dale Lowry

Nathan Dale Lowry, of Gainesville, passed away March 21, 2021 at the age of 90.  He was born December 8, 1930 in Gainesville, to W. A. and Lucy (Clark) Lowry.  He was a proud Marine and served in the Korean War.

Later in life, Nathan worked for the National Supply Company in Gainesville.  After retirement, he enjoyed working on classic vehicles and spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Lowry is survived by his four children:  Cindy Wood of Gainesville; Greg Lowry and wife Debby of Gainesville, Robert Lowry of Gainesville, Jeff Lowry and wife Diane of Gainesville.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating.  A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
