Neill Lewis Seeber

February 27, 1935 — April 6, 2022

Neill Lewis Seeber went to be with The Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday April 6, 2022 at the age of 87.  He lived for the last year and a half in Carrollton but spent over 20 years in Lake Kiowa.  He passed away peacefully at home after battling cancer.

Mr. Seeber was born February 27, 1935 in Des Moines, IA to Lewis L. Seeber and Alice Keyes Seeber.  He grew up in Des Moines and attended Roosevelt High School and Drake University.  Soon afterwards, he served in the Army from 1954 to 1957.  He was an avid golfer (some in the family say spectacular).  He had 2 hole-in-ones in his lifetime.  He golfed up until he could no longer stand unassisted.  Throughout his life he collected stamps, model trains, and painted miniature historical figurines.  He enjoyed games, puzzles, sudoku, and cards.  He loved history and told one of his daughters that he would have loved to teach history.

Neill married Marcia Elaine Tullis on August 21, 1970 in Kansas City, MO.  She was by his bedside when he took his last breath.

In the early years of Mr. Seeber’s career he worked in the hobby industry.  The bulk of his career was spent in quality assurance and fiber optics.  He retired in 1999 to concentrate on his golf game.

Neill was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife Marcia; daughter Diane Sullivan of Plano; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Michael Rasa of Carrollton; son David Gibbons of Flower Mound; daughter and son -in-law Dana and Scott Kelley of Frisco; daughter and son-in-law Darlene Crawford and Floyd Guernsey if Enid, OK; his only sister Diane Shannon of Tomball; grandchildren:  Patrick Sullivan, Kyle Crawford (Katie), Meghen Sullivan (Mike), Jessica Post (Kyle), Lindsey Wright (Travis), Jessica Young (Casey), Ryan Kelley, Catherine Ackerman (Austin), and seven great-grandchildren.
