Nell Ruth Ware

Nell Ruth Selder Ware, 82, of Callisburg, TX passed away on June 15, 2021. She was born on May 8, 1939, in Gainesville, TX to proud parents George ‘Albert’ Selder and Ruby Pearl Lemons Selder.

In 1975, Nell married Joe Ware of Gainesville, TX and they made their home in Callisburg, TX. Nell graduated from Callisburg High School in 1958. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Callisburg, TX. Nell owned a trophy shop in Gainesville, TX for over 20 years.

Nell is survived by her husband Joe Ware; son Clinton Dutton of Forestburg; daughter Sharon Hess and son-in-law Terry Hess of Valley View; daughter Brenda Ware of Denton; son-in-law Jody Gregg of Gainesville, TX; son-in-law Vernon ‘Coach’  Wright of Denton TX; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gayle Conway, and brother-in-law Maxey Conway of Forestburg, TX; sister-in-law Dorthey Selder of Gainesville, TX; sister-in-law Peggy Selder of Henrietta, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nell is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patsy Kirchenbauer; brothers Joe Selder and Jimmy Selder; daughters Karen Gregg and Linda Wright; and great grandson Kevin Dutton.

Funeral services are set for 10:30 AM Monday, June 21, 2021 at United Methodist Church in Callisburg, TX; Bro. Chad Fitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the funeral home from 3:00-5:00 PM.
