Nita Jean Faulkner

September 27, 1937 — July 9, 2023

Nita Hill Faulkner, 85, longtime resident of Collinsville, passed away July 9, 2023 in Plano.

Nita was born September 27, 1937 in Grayson County.  She married C.E. Faulkner on March 2, 1957.  Mrs. Faulkner was an employee at Weber Aircraft for many years and helped run the family farm.

Survivors include: husband C.E. Faulkner of Gainesville; daughter Carla Tucker of Paragould, AR; grandson David Yarbrough (Brigette) of Sanger; granddaughter Amanda Goss of Ardmore, OK; and great-grandchildren Ariana Yarbrough, Lainey Goss, and Caden Yarbrough.

Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by: parents B.B. and Geneva (Hall) Hill; brother Richard Hill; and son-in-law Ronnie Tucker.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, at New Hope Cemetery, Mountain Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Cemetery Association.
