Patricia Ann Gibson

Patricia Ann Gibson passed away September 1, 2023 in Gainesville at the age of 83.  She was born December 19, 1939 in Texarkana, AR to O. B. and Alma Minnie (Kerr) Coulter.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jo Ann and Danny Carney of Collinsville; daughter Dianna Harris of Gainesville; grandson Aaron and his wife Dannell Carney; great-granddaughters Katie and Ashley.  She is also survived by her sister Janie Freeman of Whitesboro.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters:  Dollie Swafford, Ollie Murphree, Jo Bevers.

Mrs. Gibson was a devoted Christian and a longtime member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.  She worked hard her entire life, finally retiring just before her 80th birthday.  She was employed by Valenite and Superior Machine & Tool.  In her spare time, she loved to bake.  She really enjoyed baking for others, providing lots of food for many people over the years.  Most of all, she relished spending time with her family and her many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
