Ray Brown

Ray Brown, 65, of Gainesville, passed away August 17, 2022 in Gainesville.

Beloved husband, father, and papa. Man of few words that made many dear friends. Papa to 14 amazing grandchildren. Ray loved to fish and ride his Orange Harley Davidson. His career path landed him at Winstar World Casino, a job he loved to go to daily. He made friends wherever he went and worked. 42 years of marriage proved to be his most valued of life’s accomplishments. He called her his “Bride” when he addressed Patti. If you knew Ray then you knew Patti, as they were inseparable. This chapter may be closed now but Ray/Papa will live on for an eternity in all who knew him and will remember him.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Beverly (Moize) Brown.

Survivors include: wife Patti Brown of Gainesville; daughter Nina Essex and husband Shon of Fort Worth; daughter Kenya Sansoucia and husband Steve of Sunset; daughter Angie Hudson and husband Case of Aledo; daughter Kacie Lindley and husband Robert of Gainesville; son Cole Ray Brown of Gainesville; and 14 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
