Regina Tatum, 61, of Gainesville, passed away December 14, 2021 in Denton.
Regina was born February 21, 1960 in Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Rider High School in Wichita Falls and was a hair dresser for most of her career. She enjoyed traveling, singing Karaoke, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Toonie”.
Survivors include: husband, Gary Tatum of Gainesville; daughter, Tiffany Brillhart and husband, Tom of Wichita Falls; son, Kendall Humpert of Wichita Falls; grandchildren: Mason, Kase, Londyn; brother, Bobby VanWinkle and wife, Debbie of Wichita Falls; sister, Laurie Walker and husband, Bryan of Ohio; sister-in-law, Phyllis VanWinkle of Alabama; aunt, Peggy Crombie and husband, Richard of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Jackie Charnock and husband, Chris of New Kent, VA; brother-in-law, Billy Tatum of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Joann Green of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Jean Tomcanin and husband, Paul of Monessen, PA; brother-in-law, Mark Tatum of Wichita Falls; step-in-laws: John Jr., Robert, and Michelle Tatum; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by: father, J.C. Hiner; mother, Dorotha Faye VanWinkle; bonus father, B.J. “Rip” VanWinkle; brother, John Hiner VanWinkle; and sister-in-law, Tracy Tatum.
A public Celebration of Life will be scheduled for February 2022.
