Robert Harrison Parker

A graveside service for Robert Harrison Parker, 53, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2024 in Callisburg Cemetery with Rev. Roslyn Eugster officiating.  No visitation is planned.

Robert was born in Gainesville on July 20, 1971 to Thomas Harrison Parker and Terry Lee Cason.  He was an avid outdoorsman, fishing and hunting every chance he had.  He was born a natural mechanic and had a passion for working on vehicles.

Mr. Parker lived life to the fullest.  He was quick-witted, gifted with wisdom and intelligence, and had a good sense of humor.  As a heavy equipment operator in the construction business, he was a professional from the start.  He could drive and operate anything with great ease.

Robert was very proud of his family, loved his daughters very much and was always there for them.  Everyone in the family always knew that they could always count on Robert with anything that they needed, and when Robert fell ill, they were always there for him.  He will dearly be missed.

Mr. Parker is survived by his daughters Karlie and Ashley Parker, both of Gainesville; mother Terry Waddell (Dennis) of Gainesville; father Tom Parker (Julie) of Gainesville; sister Jennifer Salinas; brother Justin Parker; sister Megan Espy; aunt Julie Haza; uncle James Cason(Lana); grandparents Jess and Bernice Cason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice of Fannin, Grayson, and Cooke Counties.
