Roby Winfred Zachary

Roby Winfred Zachary, 93, of Gainesville, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2020.

Mr. Zachary was born on May 2, 1927 to P.O. Zachary and Emma Zachary in Blue Ridge, Texas.

Roby was preceded in death by his parents, son Randy Zachary, son Rickey Zachary, and first wife of 69 years, Jean.

A funeral service for Mr. Zachary will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Eddie Chenault officiating.  Burial will follow at the New Resthaven Cemetery.  A visitation will be held starting at 9:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Roby is survived by hi wife, Cathy of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Roland and Cindy Zachary of Camden, AR; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Zachary retired from Halliburton and built their house on the farm on East Hwy. 82.  His passions were:  serving the Lord, yard work, farming, fishing, restoring old cars, RVing, and helping anyone in need.
