Rosalie Ann Beyer Sandmann

Rosalie Ann Beyer Sandmann, 90, of Lindsay, passed away August 11, 2021 in Gainesville.

Rosalie was born August 24, 1930 in Gainesville, to Adam and Mary (Loerwald) Beyer.  She was a graduate of Lindsay High School.  She married Raymond Bernard Sandmann on September 1, 1956 in Lindsay.  The family lived in Lindsay until 1977 when they moved to the farm south of Lindsay.  She was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Society, taught religion classes, and helped craft the Lindsay Centennial book. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family.

Mrs. Sandmann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Gay Sandmann of Lindsay; daughter Madelaine Kleid of Austin; brother-in-law Paul Sandmann and wife Maxine; brother-in-law Edward Sandmann; sister-in-law Marjorie Rohmer; grandchildren:  Stacie Myers and husband Luke, Brian Sandmann and wife Megan; great-grandchildren:  Mason and Haley Myers, Owen and Brody Sandmann.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond on June 26, 2021; her parents; her 10 siblings and spouses:  Carl Beyer and wife Mildred, Robert Beyer and wife Dorothy, Lambert Beyer and wife Bernice, Frank Beyer and wife Bernice, Tony Beyer, Andrew Beyer, Edward Beyer, Marie Sandmann and husband Frank, Gertrude Luttmer and husband Ferd, Dorothy Swirczynski and husband Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, August 16, 2021 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Tatyrek officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:00 PM with visitation to follow at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be:  Glenn Beyer, Gary Beyer, Rob Sandmann, Brian Sandmann, Luke Myers, and Mason Myers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Lindsay, TX; or a local hospice organization of one’s choosing.
