Sandy Truesdell

April 21, 1961 — February 5, 2020

A memorial service for Sandra Mina Truesdell, 58, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church of Gainesville with Dr. Jeff Langley officiating.  Those attending may use the Broadway entrance for most convenient access.

Ms. Truesdell passed away February 5, 2020 in Denton.

Sandy was born in Sweetwater, Texas, the third child of Joe and Carol Albro.  This beautiful baby girl had the distinction of being the first girl born with the Albro name in 82 years.  She moved to Gainesville with her family after high school, where she worked as a florist and always had a natural green thumb.  She was a homemaker during her children’s younger years, always finding the time to be a room mom at the kid’s schools and making custom birthday cakes.  Later she joined the family art gallery and worked along side three generations of the family.  Sandy had a love for breeding and raising Dobermans and exotic birds.  She loved spending time with and taking road trips with her two grandsons, Trevor and Cash.  She will be forever missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include: daughter Kacie Methner and husband Cody of Gainesville; grandchildren: Cash and Trevor; parents Joe and Carol Albro; brother Doug Albro and wife Darla of Decatur; and brother Mark Albro of Gainesville.

Ms. Truesdell was preceded in death by: son Travis Banks; and son Bryan Fraze.
