Sharon Hess

Sharon Kay Hess Parsons, 71, of Gainesville, passed away December 12, 2018 in Carrollton.

Ms. Hess was born June 15, 1947 in Wichita Falls to Harrison Eugene and Billie Hess.  She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1965.  She married Robert Lee Parsons on October 14, 1967 in Gainesville.  She worked for Muenster and Gainesville schools for several years.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, dancing, music, movies, and collecting.

Survivors include: son Kevin Parsons and wife Shonna of Whitesboro; son Jeff Parsons of Whitesboro; son Matt Parsons and wife Terria of Callisburg; daughter Kimberly York and husband Samuel of Wichita Falls; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Hess was preceded in death by: parents Harrison and Billie Hess; husband Robert Parsons; son Colby Parsons; and grandson Jonathan Parsons.

Burial at Fairview Cemetery was under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  A memorial service is to be scheduled for a later date.
