Shirley Ann Miller

Shirley Ann (Raney) Miller departed this earth on February 15, 2024. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Shirley was born in Rosston, Texas on September 11, 1941, the fifth child of Forrest and Angie Raney. She lived there with her family until she graduated High School and moved to Dallas. She worked there before moving to South Carolina with her husband, where they had 2 daughters. They then moved to California, where she spent many years with family and friends before moving back to Texas with her husband, Bob. After spending time in Gainesville, travelling the country with their Goldwing motorcycle and visiting England and Norway, they moved to East Texas, where she resided for the last twenty-one years.

She was a great cook who liked to read and play slots. She loved Alan Jackson and her family!

She is survived by her daughters, son in law, grandsons, granddaughter, her Raney siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 23, 2024 in Rosston Cemetery with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating.
