Stacey Lambert Hess, of Lindsay, TX, died at the age of 60 on September 25, 2024.

Stacey was born in Nocona, TX on June 5, 1964, to Paul and Shirley Reiter Hess. After the sudden loss of his mother Shirley, he was blessed with a second mom, Lillian “Sis” Fisher Hess. He was the oldest of his five siblings. He went to school at Lindsay ISD where he graduated in 1982.

After graduation he joined the Army and served his country for four years. After the Army, he joined the National Guard and continued to serve for an additional thirteen years. He also attended NCTC where obtained an Associates of Science degree. Stacey worked with his dad and brother at Paul J. and Gary A. Hess trucking for the past 33 years.

His most impactful role was as a single father to his six daughters. He was a member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, TX.

Survivors include his six daughters: Megan, Carrie, Lisa, Mackenzie, Alexis, and Lacey; his sons-in-law: Billy West and David Kennedy; his ten grandchildren: Valerie, Jazmine, Jeremy, Larry, Cole, Nataliegh, Zachary, Joseph, Jenna, and Abby; his great-granddaughter, Emilia; his parents, Paul and Lilian Hess; his siblings: Gary and Margo Hess, Rudy and Kim Hess, Sherry and Scott Wolf, and Lambert and Sandy Hess; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Stacey was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hess; his brothers: Leslie Hess and David Hess; and grandparents: Rose and Henry Hess, and Margaret and Alfonse Reiter.

A Rosary service, followed by visitation, will be held at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville, TX, Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass, followed by the committal service, will be Monday, September 30, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, TX.
