Stella Neu Stinnett

Stella Neu Stinnett, 80, of Gainesville, passed away June 2, 2023 in Gainesville.  She was born June 29, 1942 in Gainesville to Theodore M. and Agnes Marie (Hermes) Neu.  She married Wilson Stinnett on November 9, 1963 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville.

Mrs. Stinnett was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wilson Stinnett; sisters Jeanne Hoenig, Helen Jones, Carol Ann Neu, Shirley Dorsch; brothers Michael Neu and Denis Neu.

Survivors include:  daughter Pam Hoedebeck and husband Keith; son Ronnie Stinnett and wife Jennifer; grandchildren: Josh, Jacob and wife Casey, Chisam and fiancé Ashley, Brady and wife Shelbie; great-granddaughter Millie; great-grandson Thomas; sisters Patsy Rohmer and Donna Boschert; brother and sister-in-law David and Phyllis Neu; sister-in-law Connie Neu; sister-in-law Sharon Stinnett.

A Rosary Prayer Service will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with visitation to follow.  A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s School.
