Stephen Ray Biggs

Stephen Ray Biggs left this life entirely too early for all those that loved and cared for him on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Gainesville, Texas.

Stephen was born on September 24, 1987 in Gainesville, Texas.  He lived in Gainesville all of his life where he graduated from Cooke County Baptist Academy in 2006.  Stephen enlisted in the Army and trained at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina.  After serving for three years in the armed forces, he returned home to Gainesville to his family and friends.  Stephen worked for the Chickasaw Nation, Chad Sieger Plumbing, the Dr. Pepper Corporation and was currently employed with Coca-Cola in Sherman, Texas.  Stephen loved being outdoors either camping, being at the lake and especially riding RZR’s.  He enjoyed sports, especially football or baseball and was always cheering on his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys.

Stephen is survived by his daughter, Raelynn and partner Cheyanne Duvak of the home; parents, Theresa and Tim Biggs; brother, Derrick Biggs; aunt Vickie Renick all of Gainesville, Texas. aunt Judy Reed of Big Springs, Texas and uncle Stanley Higginbotham of Florida. Stephen also leaves behind thirteen cousins and a number of close friends who will miss his witty humor and ability to make all of them laugh or smile.

He is preceded in death by both grandmothers, Ms. Jeanie McGuairt and Ms. Patricia Biggs.

There will be a celebration of life for Stephen on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Lindsay Park in Lindsay, Texas from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Lindsay Park is located at 800 Pecan Street in Lindsay.
