Graveside services for Steve Dwayne Young, 56, of Gordon, West Virginia, are set for 1:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the New Hope Cemetery in Mountain Springs with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Steve was born on April 26, 1962 in Denton to Jerry Young and Martha Rogers. He passed away on May 11, 2018 in Madison, West Virginia.

Steve is survived by his wife Amy Young of Gordon, WV; mother Martha Rogers and her husband Gene of Little Field, TX; son Chris Wilder and his wife Tosha of Madison, WV; daughter Kristi Truxhall and her husband Dustin of Julian, WV; daughter Sabrina Flowers and her husband Shawn of Sod, WV; and son Steven Young and his wife Caitlyn of Madison, WV; grandchildren Destiny, Christian, Trista, Lexi, Dustin Jr., Lex, Caden, Madisyn, Liam, Shawn-David, Morgan, Kylie, Aubree, and Rae-Rae. He is also survived by his brother Ronnie and family of Littlefield, TX; sister Reta and family of Tupelo, MS; brother Rusty and family of Ponder, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Young and his wife Peggy; and niece Lindsay Marie Lavender.

Funeral services were held in Danville, WV. at the Handley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
