Steven Wayne Butts

Steven Wayne Butts, 56, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021.  He was born August 7, 1965 in Gainesville, Texas to Raymond Madison Butts and Ina Faye Fisher (Butts).

Steve graduated from Gainesville High School in 1984.  He then worked at Allan Ritchey Inc. as a mechanic and then as a service writer for 25 years.  After that he worked for CCR Incorporation until his health started fading.  He was a long-time resident of Gainesville and was a friend to everyone he met.  He enjoyed spending most of his time with his two beloved daughters.

Mr. Butts is survived by his two daughters Kylee Madison Butts and Tana Rose Butts; mother of his children Robin Levison; mother Ina Faye Fisher and her husband Donald Fisher; sister Kathy Lutkenhaus and her husband Clifford Lutkenhaus; brother Jimmy Don Fisher and wife Laura Fisher; uncles Gary Sutton and wife Gayla, Llyod Sutton and Brenda, and Jim Butts.

Steve is proceeded in death by his grandparents Jack and Sibyl Butts, Alyce and A.G Sutton; his father Raymond Madison Butts; his sister Cynthia Denise Butts; and son Dustin Kyle Butts.

A celebration of Steven's life will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 23 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville.  There will be a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery following the service.
