Tara Nicole Slade

February 20, 1989 — August 19, 2023

Tara Nicole Slade, 34, of Valley View, Texas, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 19, 2023.  She was born on February 20, 1989, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Scott and Robin (Bellew) Kline.

Tara attended St. Michael’s Catholic School in Limeport and Colesville, Pennsylvania.  She was a 2007 graduate of Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas, where she was a member of The Stars Drill Team.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.  She worked as a FLOD Manager for Mr. Cooper in Lewisville, Texas.  She married the love of her life, Jacob, whose heart will be forever broken, on July 10, 2022.

Tara loved camping, parades, scary movies, and all animals, but most of all, she loved her family and friends, especially her husband, Jacob, and the light of her life, her daughter, Layla.  Her love shined brighter than the sun.  She had a huge heart and kind spirit, and would help any friend, or any stranger.  She always knew how to keep a positive attitude, and could put a smile on even the grumpiest person’s face.  She touched many lives in her all-too-short time here on earth, and will be terribly missed by them all.  Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is fishing in heaven with her uncle Kerry, who affectionately called her “runt”, and being her Grammy’s little bedwarmer once more.  Her uncle Dale and her aunt Dea were waiting for her with Patchie, Ebby, and Little One.  God needed another angel, our beautiful Tara, who is now watching over us as our guardian angel.  Rest in peace, our beautiful Tara, until we can be together again.

Tara is survived by her loving husband, Jacob Slade of Valley View, Texas; parents, Scott and Robin Kline of Frisco, Texas; her daughter, Layla Bell; stepson Jaxton, sister, Taylor Kline, and fiancé Kelly Lulashnyk of Celeste, Texas; brother, Dylan Kline, and fiancé Taylor Halliburton of Carrollton, Texas; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Bellew of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; great uncle, Andrew Molchan and wife Stephenie of Weeki Wachee, Florida; great uncle, Michael Molchan and wife Anna of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; great uncle, Eugene “Lee” Funk of Oviedo, Florida; uncle, Robert Kline and wife Jane of Hellertown, Pennsylvania; aunt, Debby, wife of Charles Snyder of Slatington, Pennsylvania; aunt, Tammy Arnold of Slatington, Pennsylvania; mother-inlaw, Barbara, wife of Don Higgs of Rhome, Texas; father-in-law, Kris Slade and wife Linda of Farmington, New Mexico; many cousins; and her furry family, Jace dog, Chance dog, Honey dog, Stormy cat, Zora cat, and Turtle.

Tara was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Catherine Kline; great aunt, Joyce “Joy” Funk; great aunt, Virginia “Vi” Zitani (Frankie); great aunt, Leonora “Nora” Altomare (Johnny); great aunt Frieda “Fanny” (Larry) Santa Maria; great aunt, Andrea “Dea” Molchan; uncle, Dale Kline; uncle, Kerry Kline.
