Terry M. Turner, age 74, of Gainesville, TX, passed away January 13, 2025 in Gainesville.

Terry was born December 26, 1950 to Leslie Turner and LaTeka Haas in Gainesville. Raised on his grandparent’s farm in the Dye community, with his sister Jaunelle, he learned to love the outdoors. He spent time hunting and fishing and searching for arrowheads. He also had a passion for photography as well as space exploration. Terry worked for Texas-Oklahoma Geophysical Cable Company in Gainesville for most of his adult life until his retirement.

Terry is survived by his cousins Debbie (Keith) Weaver, Jim Boaz, Tom (Wilma) Boaz, Kim (Tracy) Ward, and Tim (Pam) Boaz, all of Gainesville.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, on Wednesday, January 15th, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.
