Timothy James “Pappe” Pearson, 65, of Gainesville, TX, passed away October 25, 2024 in Dallas, TX.

Tim was born July 31, 1959 in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1978.  He was hard-working and dedicated to his 26-year career with Peterbilt, but his most cherished love was his family.  He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.  Tim was an avid sports fan and supported the Rangers, Mavericks, and Cowboys.

Survivors include: wife of 32 years, Christie Pearson; daughter Brandi Pearson; son Keith MacPherson; son James Pearson; son Kody MacPherson (wife Kerrmmisha); daughter Nona Bartlett; daughter Lyndon Bartlett; grandchildren: Andrew, Chris, Luke, Riley, Haileigh, Olivia, Parker, and Maddie; mother Pat Ownbey (husband Truitt); stepmother Julia Pearson; sister Becky Garrett (husband Billy); brother Mark Pearson (wife Connie); brother Michael Ridener (wife Amy); sister Sharon Edsall (husband Robert); sister Truetta Webb (husband Gregg); brother Terry Ownbey (wife Mary); brother-in-law Yerbie Carr (wife Cheryl); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by: father Lyndon Pearson; and mother-in-law Dannie Carr.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 a.m. and a funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
