SERVICE TIME HAS CHANGED

Memorial services for Thomas J. Letter, 78, of Lake Kiowa, are scheduled for 3:30 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  Inurnment will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Letter passed away April 20, 2019 in Lake Kiowa.

Tom was born January 20, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Elmer and Marge (Schlueter) Letter.  He graduated high school in Arlington and enlisted in the Navy.  Following his service, Mr. Letter earned a degree from the now-known-as University of Texas at Arlington and pursued a career in electronics.  He then journeyed into furniture sales, eventually operating his own company.  Mr. Letter retired to Lake Kiowa in the late 1990s, where he was able to spend more time with his hobbies of fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Survivors include: son Alan Bruce Letter of Mansfield; daughter Laura Cooper and husband Matthew of West Islip, NY; grandchildren Madeline and Peter; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Letter was preceded in death by: his parents; brother Don Letter; and brother Bob Letter.
