Tommie Mae Skinner

Funeral services for Tommie Mae Skinner, 89, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with David Gray officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in the Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at 9:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
Tommie was born on June 11, 1929 in Megargel to Thomas Walter Shelley and Clara Mae (Blankenship) Shelley. She passed away on April 15, 2019 in Denton.
Tommie is survived by her son Gary Joe Conner and his wife Linda of Gainesville; son Ronnie Conner of Graham; daughter Marsha Ann Homer of Gainesville; son Michael Lee Conner of Gainesville; daughter Jan Faye Cagle and her husband Phillip of Sulphur, OK; daughter Jill Kaye Bowles and her husband David of Princeton; daughter Janie Vasquez and her husband Alex of Austin; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Berryman of Kyle; and sister Robbie Keesee of Abilene.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William Alexander Skinner; son Terry Ray Conner; and son Larry Lynn Conner.
Pallbearers will be Jody Goss, Dylan Scruggs, James Reed, David Reed, Alex Conner, and Tommy Dhane.
