Tony Dudenhoeffer

Michael Anthony Dudenhoeffer, 61, of Gainesville, passed away January 23, 2022 in Denton.

Tony was born February 29, 1960 in Gainesville to Mike and Bessie (Franklin) Dudenhoeffer.  He graduated from Gainesville High School and married Judy Epperson on April 25, 1981 in Gainesville.  Mr. Dudenhoeffer was a hard-working man and worked in maintenance his entire career.  There was never anything he couldn’t fix.  Mr. Dudenhoeffer loved to travel, having made several road trips with his son in recent years. A generous spirit, he spent most of his time either helping others or spoiling his grandchildren, who were #1 in his life.

Survivors include: wife, Judy Dudenhoeffer of Gainesville; son, Jeremy Dudenhoeffer and wife, Tammy of Sanger; grandchildren: Lena and Austin; mother, Bessie Dudenhoeffer of Gainesville; sister, Tessie Wagoner and husband, Steve of Idaho; sister, Kathy Hudson and husband, Mike of Greenville; sister, Bernie Brown and husband, Michael of Era; sister, Rose Ramsey and husband, Ronnie of Decatur; brother, Matt Dudenhoeffer; sister-in-law, Diana Hensley of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Barbara Jones and husband, Mike of Walnut Bend; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Dudenhoeffer was preceded in death by his father, Mike Dudenhoeffer.

A Rosary service will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 6:30 P.M.  The family will receive friends following the service from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choosing.
