Vince Kendrick

Funeral services for Vincent Paul Kendrick, 34, of Gainesville, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Dotson officiating.  Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 22 at the funeral home.

Mr. Kendrick passed away March 17, 2019 in Gainesville.

Vince was born July 18, 1984 in Agana Heights, Guam, US Territory at the Naval Air Station Hospital, to Martin and Livia Leaton Kendrick.  He graduated from Auburn Riverside High School in Auburn, WA in 2002.  Vince was an active member of the Auburn Ravens Marching Band playing percussion.  He also played the violin.  Vince graduated from Green River Community College in 2005 with a Computer Programming Degree.  He was a passionate PC gamer who loved playing and sharing this love with his family and friends.  Vince recently moved back to Gainesville with his parents and was happy to be close to his Texas family.  His biggest passion of all was his love of music.

Vince is survived by his parents of Gainesville; brothers – James Kendrick and wife Aga of San Diego, CA, and Sean Kendrick and wife Sarah of Denver, CO; uncles – Jack Kendrick and wife Julie of Phoenix, AZ, Don Leaton and wife Lynda of Palestine, TX, and Jack Leaton and wife Lena of Euless, TX; aunt Patty Craig and husband Jeff of Arlington, WA; Godmother Jackie Briley of Gainesville; and Godmother Ruby Profit of Bonney Lake, WA.  Vince is also survived by many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Vince was preceded in death by his grandparents - Billie Joe Leaton Sr. and Louise Lemons Leaton, and Jackie and Audrey Peterson Kendrick; uncles - Billie Joe Leaton Jr., Tommy Leaton, and David Kendrick; and aunt Bettye Leaton Camp.

Serving as pallbearers are: David Leaton, Gary Henry, Thomas Lemons, Michael Almon, Wade Perkins and Johnny Leaton.
