Virginia Lee Head

Graveside services for Virginia Lee Head, 85, of Callisburg, are set for 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2023 in Hibbit Cemetery with Randy Thomason officiating.

Mrs. Head passed away April 21, 2023 in Callisburg. She was born March 26, 1938 in Antelope, TX to Herman Lee and Leona Elizabeth (Jackson) Conner.

Virginia was truly loved by her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. They spent many fond times together and she loved to laugh.

Mrs. Head was a sewing instructor at the Lorch sewing factory in Gainesville and later served as property manager for the Gainesville Garden Apartments. She spent her spare time reading, watching old movies, cooking for her family, and she could embroider anything.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Joanie Head of Callisburg; son and daughter-in-law Danny and Teri Head of Mora, NM; son and son-in-law Buddy Head and Kent Albright of Dallas; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Forrest and Rachel Head of Callisburg; great-grandchildren: Haley, Ava, Aubrey, and Wiley Head; brother James Conner.

Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her parents; husband C. L. Head; brother Ralph Conner.
