Funeral services for Wanda Janell Martin, 84, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
Wanda was born on August 8, 1934 in Burns City to Benjamin Franklin Norvell and Annis (Davenport) Norvell. She passed away on November 23, 2018 in Gainesville.
She is survived by her husband Lester Haynie of Valley View; daughter Cynthia Casebier and her husband Steve of Virginia Beach, VA; son Monte Martin of Irving; daughter Shellie Vansa and her husband Randy of Arlington; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; first husband James Martin in 1993; sister Norma Woodfin; brother Carroll Norvell; and brother Kenneth Norvell.
