Wanda Ralene Thompson, 63, of Gainesville, passed away on November 4, 2020.
Ralene was born to Bobby Joe Wood and Julia Ann (Fleming) Wood in Long Beach, California on August 28, 1957. She was the first of five children. She attended schools in California, Florida, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Hawaii. After she finished high school, her father retired from the U.S. Navy and they moved to Oklahoma. She married Clayton Lee on February 1, 1976 until they divorced later in life. She married Calvin Thompson in Gainesville on August 17, 2002. Ralene was employed by Weber Aircraft for many years.
She is survived by her husband Calvin of Gainesville; mother Julia Wood of Gainesville; son Daniel Wood and his wife Carrie of Ada, OK; daughter Amanda Fultz and her husband Lonnie of Blanchard, OK; son Dylon Thompson and his wife Myranda of Las Vegas, NV; son Bryan Thompson and his wife Monica of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren; sister Sharon Hendricks of Wilderville, OR; brother Robert Wood and his wife Marilyn of Whitesboro; brother Larry Woods of Gainesville; and brother Michael Wood and his wife Kim of Calliham, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Wood.
