Graveside services for Wanda Gayle Youngblood, 81, of Clute, are set for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Fairview Cemetery Pavilion in Gainesville with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM

Wanda passed away on February 19, 2019 after a short hospital stay.

She was born to Larry and Lena May in Cooke County, TX on February 1, 1938. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Mearl Youngblood, in 1955, and they were married 58 years before he died in 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and baby daughter Deborah Kay.

She is survived by her sister Sue Cullum and her husband Don, daughter Rhonda and her husband David Hearne, daughter Lesia Youngblood, granddaughter Katie Hearne, and grandson Kevin Hearne and his wife MK.
