William (Bill) Jeff Hargrove

A graveside service for William (Bill) Jeff Hargrove, 66, of Gainesville, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the Hibbit Cemetery with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating.

Mr. Hargrove passed away May 26, 2019 in Denton.  He was born on February 17, 1953 in Ballinger, TX to Linden Oliver and Betty Jo (Mathis) Hargrove.

Bill was a graduate of Gainesville High School class of 1971.  He worked for 30 years as a licensed nurse at the Denton State School caring for those with special needs.  He was an avid sports fan devoted to GHS Leopard Football and the Dallas Cowboys.  He also enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing.

Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Sheri and Robert Criswell of Frisco; sister Mary Susan Hargrove of Callisburg; nephew Lance Criswell and wife Dana; Niece Gena Glasco and husband Tony; nephew Buddy Criswell and wife Katie; niece Brittany Gonzales and husband Jonathan; niece Bailey Gonzales; great-nephews Ethan, Chance, Corbin, and Cooper; and great-nieces Kambel, Kindal, Anna, and Makayla.
