William "Bill" Ray Robbins

Private services for William "Bill" Ray Robbins, 64, of Gainesville, were held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. He was laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville.

Bill was born on November 24, 1956 in Hot Springs, AR. He passed away on January 17, 2021 in Denton.

Bill was employed at Peterbilt in Denton for over 24 years. He enjoyed music and his family, but most of all, his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife Diana Robbins of Gainesville; son Coty Hurt of Muenster; daughter Courtney Giourgas and her husband Casey of Thackerville, OK; and grandchildren Blayne Giourgas, Cameron Giourgas, Logan Hurt, and Caston Giourgas.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joann Lancanster.
