William Allen White

Allen White, 45, formerly of Gainesville, gained his wings on September 3, 2024 surrounded by his fellow residents at the James Bruner TK Ranch, Sunset, TX.  He was born September 19, 1978 to Kenneth R. and Pamela Marie (West) White in Gainesville.

Allen is survived by his father Kenneth R. White of Gainesville; brother Matthew R. White of Gainesville; grandmother Mary West; aunts and uncles:  Floyd and Becky White, Judy and Don Woods, John and Bobbie West, Joyce and Fred Wilhelm; adopted mom Mary K. Holicky.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his mother Pamela White; grandfather William West; grandparents Floyd and Gwendolyn White.

A visitation is scheduled for Allen from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, 602 S. Lindsay St., Gainesville, TX 76240.

Mr. White’s funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 2201 W. California St., Gainesville, Texas, with Pastor Randy Taylor officiating.

Allen’s pallbearers will be:  Matthew White, Chad White, Phillip Comer, John West, Brian West, Keith Shelkin.  Honorary pallbearer is Elizabeth Hernandez.
