Wilma Ruth (Achimon) Owens

Graveside services for Wilma Owens, 82, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Owens passed away May 21, 2020 in Gainesville.

Wilma was born October 7, 1937 in Woodville, OK to Barney Lee and Effie Dona (Todd) Achimon.  Her favorite pastimes were studying her Bible and taking walks.  Mrs. Owens was a devoted member of River Alive at the Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include: son Jimmy Lee Arnett of Gainesville; daughter Kimberly Ann Arnett of Gainesville; son Dennis Dale Arnett of Gainesville; son Lloyd Lee Arnett and wife Cathy of Gainesville; daughter Chellie Hockett and husband Tommie of Callisburg; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister Gaynell McWilliams of Borger.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Gary Michael Owens; great-granddaughter Theresa Arnett; great-granddaughter Elizabeth Cosgrove; great-grandson Justin Cosgrove; and several brothers and sisters.
