Jane O'Brien

Jane Elizabeth Connelly O’Brien, 87, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011. Jane was born March 23, 1924, in Trenton (Fannin County) Texas to James B. Connelly and Elizabeth Littrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack O’Brien, a lifelong farmer and rancher in the Era community, son-in-law Tony Molinar, and 10 brothers and sisters: Bertha, JB, Homer, Willie Mae, Gwendolyn, Mary, Johnny, Bobby, Mickey, Gene. Jane is survived by daughters Dian Molinar of Denton, Helen Kupper and husband Tom of Lewisville; grandchildren Monica Molinar, Darrin Kupper, Michael Molinar and wife Emily, and Justin Kupper; great-grandson J.T. Kupper; sister, Donna Derryberry of Dallas; a large extended family and numerous close and loving friends. Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, October 19th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Jane’s life will be held on Thursday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
