Funeral Mass for Marcus W. Fuhrmann, 87, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 am Wednesday December 14, 2011 at St. Peters Church in Lindsay, with the Rev. Raymond McDaniel, and Rev. Kyle Walterscheid officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at St. Peters Church with Stephanie Rocha providing vocals and Shayne Wimmer providing the accompaniment.

Marcus was born on August 30, 1924 in Centralia, OK to Antone and Lucy Johnson Fuhrmann. He passed away on Sunday December 12, 2011 in Gainesville. Marcus married Catherine Louise Lueb on January 14, 1947 at Sacred Heart in Muenster.

He is survived his daughters and sons-in-law Annette and Johnny Anderle of Muenster, Margie and Willie Wimmer of Muenster, Becky and Bobby Bauer of Sherman, Pam and Tom Hoberer of Lindsay, sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Linda Fuhrmann of Muenster, Michael and Beverly Fuhrmann of Muenster, Steve and Brenda Fuhrmann of Lindsay, Pat and Jill Fuhrmann of Lindsay, and Ken and Amy Fuhrmann of Highland Village, Texas, 32 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Willie Fuhrmann; sister Lucy Hess; sister Hilda Flusche; and sister Mary Schilling.

Pallbearers are Kevin Anderle, Corey Anderle, Chris Fuhrmann, Clint Fuhrmann, Kyle Fuhrmann, Travis Fuhrmann, Connor Fuhrmann, and Nick Fuhrmann.

Honorary pallbearers are Derek Fuhrmann, Matthew Fuhrmann, John Anderle Jr., Jacob Fuhrmann, Dominic Fuhrmann, Josh Hoberer, Shayne Wimmer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Church Restoration Fund,or to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
