Funeral services for Samuel Christopher "Chris" Faulkner, 58, of Gainesville, is set for 11:00 am Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville with the Rev. John Fleming officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church preceding the funeral.
Chris was born on December 14, 1959 in Clarksville, IN to Samuel Bowman Faulkner and Lois Adele (Smith) Faulkner. He passed away on July 17, 2018 in Grapevine.
Chris is survived by his wife Debbie of Gainesville; son Denis O'Donnell and his wife Ashley of Austin; son Sam D. Faulkner and his wife Seane of Brooklyn, NY; daughter Andie Szyman and her husband Josh of Flagstaff, AZ; granddaughter Lula O';Donnell of Austin; mother Lois Faulkner of New Albany, IN; sister Susan Flowers of Louisville, KY; and sister Nancy Davis of New Albany, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Bowman Faulkner; and brother-in-law Bill Davis.
