Richard Lee Laflamme

February 14, 1947 — December 18, 2020

Richard Lee LaFlamme, 73, of Callisburg, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2020.  He was surrounded by family and friends.

Richard was born on February 14, 1947 to Ora Lee (Cline) LaFlamme and Step-Father E.J. LaFlamme

Services are Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 1:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll Funeral Home with Jimmy Davis Officiating.  Burial to follow at Callisburg Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home

Richard loved to collect coins, Coca-Cola items and numerous other collections.  He loved being around his family.  His most recent passion was his Prayer Warrior Ministry.  He was called to this ministry on October 15, 2015.  He would visit churches in the county and pray for the pastors.  He made visits to nursing homes to visit and pray with residents.  He also had a list of people he would call on a regular basis to check-in and pray for them.

Richard retired from Starr Aircraft in Sherman as a Quality Manager and F.A.A. Designee after 24 years.  He previously worked for Weber Aircraft for 21 years.

Richard is survived by his wife, Alice of Callisburg, and children: son Stanley Lambert and wife Daely of Plano, daughter Anita and Husband Jeff Threadgill of Callisburg, daughter Lee Ann Pool of Fate, daughter Rhonda and Husband Scott Tiedt of Fairview, son Brad Lambert and wife Nadia of Glen Rose, daughter Melissa and Husband Chris Pulte of Denton, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, much-loved daughter Elizabeth James, and brother David LaFlamme.

In lieu of flowers, make contributions to Home Hospice of Cooke County or Riverbend Retreat Center.
